Halloween as we know it is an American Holiday, another excuse for Americans to spend money and eat candy. Or.....it can just be another excuse to get together with your friends and hang out. Liz and Hannah Pastrell hosted a Halloween party this year at there house with all our friends. Like most things, getting ready was one of the best parts of the evening. I was an Egyptian and made my costume, I also helped make Hannah and Stephens outfits (Chef and sous-chef). It is fun to see the interesting costumes people come up with. This years most common costume, along with the usual doctors, nurses and superheros, was Sarah Palin. At the time we were in the middle of the presidential elections, and Sarah Palin was running along side John McCain. My friend Amanda pulled her off fantastically, looking just like her!! All in all....a fun night!! And not too much candy eaten. :)
