The first Cross-country meet of our season was held on the 29th of August at a local park. It was one of only two night meets here is America, so the whole course was under lights. Our team did super well......dominating the field and easily beating the team that beat us last year.

I wasn't able to run but helped out with the finishing chute. Not a very pretty job at points with boys running through throwing up. All together it was a super fun night, cool atmosphere and good results. Our team is building itself into a National class team and we showed it that night.

Being at the race and seeing the girls run so well makes me want to get out there so bad.......all in time. :)
